We have recently launched a number of exciting updates to OpenAsset:
- View project information
- View your selection
- Add current file to selection
- PDF tools
- Maximum view size
- Zapier Integrations page
- Video thumbnails
View project information
You can now access project information while viewing files by selecting the ‘Project’ tab. This will make more information accessible to you while selecting images, as well as cutting down the time spent clicking between file and project search. Hero Images for projects are now selected from the ‘Project’ tab of the relevant image.
View your selection
We have added a ‘View all’ button that will allow you to view your selection of files in a new search. This can be useful if you are building a selection of files across multiple searches and then refining your selection to a smaller group of images, either to share or to use in an application like InDesign.
Add current file to your selection
When viewing files, you can now add them to your selection using the check-mark from the top menu bar. This will enable you to view a group of images in slideshow mode, quickly selecting the best images as you browse.
We have added PDF file management tools to all OpenAsset Cloud systems. You can now combine and split PDF pages directly within OpenAsset, as well as extract text and images from documents.
Maximum view size
You are now able to select a ‘Max View Size’ for viewing images on the File Info page. This can improve load speeds if you use a low-bandwidth connection.
Zapier Integrations page
OpenAsset recently partnered with Zapier, an online automation tool that allows you to easily connect OpenAsset with a wide range of web applications. We have added a Zapier Integrations page – accessible to Cloud users from the user dropdown menu (top right) – which lists the top 100 Zaps that are ready to use now.
Video thumbnails can now be downloaded straight from OpenAsset.
