2018 has seen some significant updates and changes to OpenAsset. We’ve updated our UI, improving the overall look and feel of our product. We’ve released a number of new features, brought Artificial Intelligence into our DAM and we launched our Employee Module. All of our updates and changes are driven with our users in mind. We want to make OpenAsset work smarter and harder for you, your team and your business. Improving search, streamlining workflows and connecting OpenAsset to your other integral platforms, has been at the core of some our biggest developments this year. So, here are a few of the highlights of 2018 and what they mean for users of OpenAsset. Users of OpenAsset Cloud can now commence a search simply by selecting an image then viewing similar results drawn from across the entire image library. The feedback we have received from customers suggests that Image Similarity Search is helping them with tasks such as building mood boards and bulk image tagging. In 2019 we will continue to develop the scope of AI in image similarity, with continued AI R&D and product updates across other aspects of our DAM. Employee Module The Employee Module began as a feature request from a client who wanted to reduce the time spent updating and building resumes. By automatically synchronising data between OpenAsset and your EPR system, the Employee Module allows you to generate documents at the click of a button. The ability to link images and projects to employees also helps to improve knowledge management and to highlight the accomplishments of your staff. The page offers an improved interface allowing users to zoom into images, view images in full screen mode and browse through selections of images. The process of editing file information and adding or removing images from albums has also been simplified and it is now possible to batch edit files, saving you time and improving the overall experience of viewing and editing files in OpenAsset. Read more Software Integrations OpenAsset have recently partnered with Zapier, an online automation tool that allows you to set up integrations between OpenAsset and a wide range of online applications. They are simple to set up and allow you to automate tasks or set up alerts based on triggers, bringing greater efficiency to OpenAsset workflows. A number of our customers have successfully automated workflows using ‘Zaps’ between OpenAsset and applications such as Salesforce and WordPress. We think this partnership will offer exciting opportunities for connecting OpenAsset with applications organizations use every day.
